About Us >>
Each summer, the Foundation sponsors a free music program for Bay Area youth musicians to express their musical talents while forging friendships in a safe and caring environment.
Music Camp enrollment starts at the end of January, and the Camp opens in June for 6 weeks.
The Jenny Lin Foundation sponsors a Stay Safe Contest where students submit projects promoting child safety within our communities. This year’s Contest theme is Cyber Safety.
The Safety Contest registration is from Feb. 1 to April 5, entry cutoff date is April 19, and winners are announced on the last Friday of May at the Jenny Lin Memorial.
The Jenny Lin Foundation was incorporated in 1994 after the tragic and brutal murder of Jenny Lin, a talented and well-loved fourteen-year-old girl. As a charitable organization, the foundation’s mission is to promote child safety and youth music education. The foundation sponsors many music and safety events which benefit the East Bay communities, including the free youth music camp and concert, scholarships for young musicians, safety awareness education, and more.
